V2L & bidirectional charging
Some EVs can give power back — straight from the drive battery.
V2L (Vehicle-to-Load)
A normal socket on the car: runs tools, a cooler, or camping kit. Handy and increasingly common — we show each car’s V2L capability in the comparison.
V2H / V2G (Vehicle-to-Home / Grid)
The car feeds power back to your home or the grid — a buffer for solar or peak loads. Needs a compatible wallbox and approval; still rare in Germany, but coming.
What to check
Not every car supports it, and V2H/V2G need extra hardware. Check the V2L flag and treat V2H as a future option.
