About Evident
Evident is an independent car-buying decision tool — not a dealer, not a broker. We don’t sell cars or arrange contracts.
Our goal: make the true total cost of ownership (TCO) transparent so you choose consciously — not just on sticker price, but on the real cost per month.
We start with electric cars because that’s where the economics are least transparent today — charging curve, battery health, residual value, THG credits — and the market is growing fastest. We’re neutral: no vehicle inventory of our own, no dealer money, no commission — only the numbers set the order. We also collect real used-car listing prices every week; that series of our own checks our residual-value assumptions (radar, ↺ on used offers) and grows every week.
All figures are traceable estimates with an effective date (see the methodology). Evident shows no ads and earns nothing from links.
